Two dissertations by a Franciscan friar relating to the jurisdictional struggle between monastic orders and the regular clergy, upholding in particular the right of the Franciscans to precedence in the Querétaro Corpus Christi procession. Includes notes and preliminary material, largely in Latin, a dedication to the Holy Trinity, and quotations from various saints or doctors of the Church in place of the usual license and expressions of approbation.
